Team Adrenalin is an exclusive and bespoke training facility that helps the whole family reach its self defence and fitness goals! We are are excited to announce that our purpose built training centre is currently being constructed. Completion date due within the first half of 2025.

Meet Your Head Instructor

Growing up locally in the region, Ted discovered a passion for martial arts after watching a Bruce Lee movie, a pivotal moment paving a fledgling obsession of commitment to training across multiple traditional martial arts disciplines as a teen in the late ‘80s.

As mixed martial arts developed popularity in the 90s, a cultural change to a more pragmatic approach to training was embraced. This enabled a practical ‘fact’ based training framework that resonated well with Ted and set him on his own evolutionary path as a martial artist and instructor. Ted commenced instructing Muay Thai in 1989, growing his school to incorporate Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Filipino Martial Arts and Self Defence prior to officially founding Adrenalin Martial Arts in 1996, becoming Warrnambool’s first full time martial arts school, A result of many, many hours of training and dedication, Ted is incredibly proud of his accolades and accomplishments across multiple disciplines, including competitive experience in Muay Thai, Boxing and Martial Arts, enabling him to work alongside world class leaders, coaches and program developers. Ted was awarded a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a first ever for Warrnambool.

Ted’s skill acquisition and ongoing professional development has resulted from his active engagement with professional bodies and industry leaders, attending countless seminars and training opportunities, even creating a large portfolio of interviews with martial arts master’s from around the world as part of his online coaching series.

Some 35 years later and Ted remains just as proud, dedicated and enthralled with training and coaching students, building confidence and resilience in kids and adults alike to achieve their goals and improve their fitness along the way.
